Waterpen Sketches

Hi everyone, What a long last 6 months. It has been pretty hectic around here with travels and family and I havent had alot of time to do anything as far as market pieces. So to get back in the swing of things I pulled out my pens and waterbrush and sketched a few 10min studies. The first 2 are done on watercolor paper and the dog was done in my moleskin. A few months ago I purchased a couple of sakura waterbrushes and when combined with both a watersoluable ink pen and a permenant ink pen most of the work for me. Hope you enjoy. :)

Feeling Fauvist Portrait Painting

Well while the kids were making up their Father' day cards this weekend I pulled out my paints and let them fly. It is very strange that anything put on the open market is usually very detailed and traditional but anything that I make up for our home is bold, colorful and almost abstract. I love the way this painting turned out-very few strokes with bold color. :) Untitled 8 * 10 acrylic on canvas board SOLD

Recycled Wood Arbour

We have been busy in the yard this year planting, moving, and always adding. I find most of my inspiration and calming in our gardens so why not make it all that it can be. This is another simple reclaimed wood project that we put together in a weekend. The box was an after thought and still needs to be painted but until the "monsoon" season is over, it just wont be happening. lol Hope you enjoy
